It’s sudden and abrupt As though a change in season The poets that we loved Leave us without a reason They leave us here in woe As if we were imprisoned But still it’s good to know They lived and for a reason ------------------ I fell in love and kept on falling |

This deserved at least one response, if not more, so I will start the chain, I hope. Good job here paying tribute to a fellow poet. ------------------ Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent. |

Wonderfully written, sometimes people come and go so fast in and out of our lives here online, but every poet who has posted, leaves something behind with us. ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |

Not only poets - it's always sad when someone drops out of our life. Well written! |

Thanks everybody, I wasn't expecting so many replies. This poet for who I wrote this once stated "it's not relevant to know what caused the persons death, it's by far more important to know the reason for their life" ------------------ I fell in love and kept on falling |

A lovely tribute to your friend. A poet's flame lives on as this story is shared. Thank you. |
