As over-achievers , at under-rated things ,
recognition escapes those , who fly with lead wings.
Though the glory that's attendant , with a meteoric rise ,
shines not on these ascendants , the more treasured are the skys .
Small advances have more meaning , when one truly must compete .
Not just against another , who may of foot be fleet .
But un-daunted by adversities ,keeping lessers from such flight ,
and un-sung , un-heard , un-noticed ,aspire to great heights .
By what scale should we judge them , if we're qualified at all ?
For if we stand on equal footing , what's un-equal is the fall .
By what effort did they come here , to stand with feet supplanted ?
At this crest in their achievements , that most would take for granted .

Well, now - Here's an innovative piece of work -
Three poems in one
The entire poem read as is, the one on the left of the screen, and the one on the right... I haven't attempted this format - I've thought of it, now perhaps I'll have the incentive...
Very nice, Dr.Moose - and - WELCOME to PASSIONS........

Dr.Moose1,
Well you caught my attention. I've tried a similar form, a poem that could be read from
right to left and left to right. It could also be read up side down and first and third line then second and forth. It was nice to see some one else try and succeed so well.

A poem written so well deserves another visit to the top.

Well done

Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool:
But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet.

Thank you all for your kind words , earlier Nan asked what form this was written in , to which I honestly replied " I have no idea ".
If anyone does please let me know .

I've got zero clue to the format, but I'll say this much... very, very good. I bow to you and your efforts. Three in one, who'ld of thunk it possible.
