Memory of Innocence, memories of laughter, memories that lingered long there after. Filled with childhood memories, those of regretfulness, those that are fond and dear. Memories that family seems to reminisce upon on Christmas every year. It's comfort, of all sorts. Memories of Sunday afternoon, Chicago Bulls' games, memories of late night football, glad it was always the same, to this day, you still don't want a single thing to change. Memories of dreaded chores, a place for you to kick back & relax, when you were sick, or just plain bored. Childhood memories it contains, and fulfilled. Remember those attempts to hide our soda spills? Mom discovered them everyone, whether they were your's or mine, and Daddy always covered for both of our behinds. Images of food soiled stains, Remembering the games we played, our favorite, hot & cold, sees to fade away, & becomes forgotten and old. Glancing upon these childhood memories, I realize just how much I miss my sister so. |

Another nicely done poem...thanks for reminding me of my time with my sister...it seems as though I don't remember my younger days as much as I used too... ------------------ We are only truly apperciated after we are no more! |
