What's this hangin' around our neck,
causin' us to be a nervous wreck.
A watch, a clock, a calander near,
all this thing does is cause us fear.

We arise in the mornin' for our coffee,
off to work with donuts made of toffee.
We hit the traffic in a rage,
to find the gasoline has a low guage.

We get to work in a panic,
our boss already in a frantic.
He dispenses his agenda at your desk,
you nervously settle into your nest.

Feeling the shock of the day,
wishing...if I were only at the bay.
No one to hinder, no one to harp,
no one to say something sharp.

Five o'clock rolls around,
pick up the kids, "gee their wound."
Home at last, kiss 'em fast,
supper's complete, as I breathe and gasp.

I close my eyes to get some rest,
for another day to do my best.
All these days seem the same,
What a crazy kind of game.

Go get some air, girl!!
I like this, a great tale of our fast-paced, enormous world.
