A fill in poem and your on your own. In the evenings early hours, Float the smells of jasmine ------- Sweeps across in delicate rune, In the light of a yellow ---- Grounds shadows sullen lingers, Like the touch of lovers ------- And turns like player piano reams. Where lays the quasi drifting ------ Like holes that player piano sound. Or baying dogs where game is ----- Intensify the howls that fall And single out the dogs that ---- High in the trees trembles the prey He makes his final stand and ---- Momentary escape from harm. With trembling heart in high ----- He woe's the shrinking of his birth, His days and nights upon this ----- |

I'm not a poet, but if I were I sure wouldn't want to miss this challenge! ------------------ May your days be filled with lots of sunshine and your nights lit up by golden moonbeams |

Well this was original! So many ways to be filled in! This was really neat! A poets mind in searching to make your rhyme complete! |

Pepper, WhtDove and Sunshine. Thank you all for the comments. It would be interesting to me to see how some people would finish the blank lines? |
