inside me there could be,
a child growing,
from our own reflections,
only to be lost in a world,
that is still misunderstood,
by us,
after all this time.

in my heart,
fear is welling,
that ive taken time for granted,
and forced you to do the same,
now im sorry to a man,
that hasnt lived his life yet.

in your mind,
questions are breeding,
and killing you to think,
that this child,
could tare you apart,
and your insecurities are unmeasurable.

inside me,
at this moment,
our mistakes could be becoming,
the most cherished thing,
weve ever dreamed to hold,
and still we cry together,
becuase fear makes us weak.

i stand before you,
empty handed,
with nothing but my love,
and something that may not exist,
and the tears in your eyes,
and the softness in your touch,
assure me,
that whatever comes of this,
ill never be alone.
