I'm being tested that's what it must be,
There must be a purpose,
For the way life's been treating me,
Now it's my job to answer the challenge..

Emotionally I fear for myself,
But I'm always there for others,
I'm always there for my son as well,
I try to be one fo the best in Mother's.

For my husband who's job is threatened,
I'm there for his moral support,
Or just to listen and say it'll be alright,
To offer much needed sympathy as I ought.

I keep a clean home,
For all that dwell within,
Fort it is our sanctuary,
A place of shelter, to hide from the din.

I am always the dutiful daughter,
I couldn't be anything less,
After all my parents have done for me,
For them, I'll always do my best.

It's just be nice if all my loved ones knew,
I'm not always the rock of strength I seem,
That even I sometimes feel down and blue,
And that I need to be looked after too.

So, I'll still be the best that I can,
As I always strive to be,
And hope that eventually,
God will show me his plans for me.

I really relate to this one. I have my children to be strong for and the expectations of my parents. What I don't have is a husband to lean on me as well. On the same note I don't have him for my support either. You did a wonderful job with this one.

After all, we're only human, (Toerag notwithstanding!) It is good to stand alone and be stong, as long as you recognize that you can't bear the wight of the world on your shoulders.
