I want to fly away,
Leave all these earthly troubles behind,
To soar like a bird in the bluest of skies,
Not wait around for a sign.

Let the gentle winds carry my wings,
Into another time or place,
A magical place where beauty abounds,
Revell in the light of a shining face.

I'd be a seagull if I could,
Soaring across the endless blue,
Forgetting all life's worries,
If you could do it, wouldn't you?

My fragile soul being would mend,
The pain and fears would melt away,
I would find the strength I need,
To face another day.

An end to the worries,
An end to the pain,
An end to the fears
That I was going insane.

Element of fire,
Spirit of light,
Essence of life,
Awaken the night.

Awaken in me the spirit of peace,
Open the door all golden bright,
Allow thy worries to cease,
Allow my life to fill with love, beauty and light...
