Walking along this ghastly Avenue
Scared, shaken, and searching for you
Never before had I felt so lost and alone
I was left stranded
In a place I've never known
I did not know which way to turn
So I walked forward
as far as my eyes could see
Calling out your name
and thinking how could you leave me
Suddenly, a message came to mind
which might be of some surprise to you
Never, in my life again
will I be able to trust you!!

Works well for me, it echoes my feelings exactly at this point soul-sister.
