When I was a girl who dreamed of princes, I met a man who opened that secret place where young girl's dreams are, then in his rapture saw me through the eyes of his own pleasure. Things I'd never noticed from youth's bright window I discovered in love's words and the sun-full days, before him began to seem ubsurd. He insisted on clear vision looked with fearless examination. He tried to make me into the woman in his heart song. How could he create her out of my youthful moonlight? She was courageous and complete and unafraid of idol breakers, I was fragile in the muscle and afraid of two much friction. She would have loved him like a woman loves a man. I loved him like a rose bud loves the morning dew. Years have passed. I no longer dream of princes. Sometimes I wonder if he searches still for Tandy. |

hmmmm, I liked this, good picture of how 2 people look for something in the other that is not really there, but they find a way to see it to their own gratification..... |
