Desperate Cry I have gone in so many circles these past few months I lost so much in this time A love that I cherished from the start A love that made me feel complete A love I found as strong as could be This love I believed in Here peace was found A truth that I clung to Somehow I got scared and ran away Letting the demons back in my life I gave up on myself and all I believed in Pulled away kicking and screaming back to where I felt lost Not knowing what to do or how to return Lies and confusion causing ever more pain Desperately crying for help Continuing to dig deeper and deeper Hurting myself and the one I Love Not kowing what to do So much confusion I caused Why do I finally see entirely what I did?? Wanting, needing, and hoping that I will fully return to where I felt true peace This peace may have changed, directing me in yet another direction Possibly not returning to where it was originally found But, to a new place yet to be entirely discovered I would love to hear what you think!!  ------------------ "Never let anyone keep you from your dreams, follow your heart, be true to yourself, and if that special someone does to, go ahead, walk together side by side as one!! |

Hindsight is certainly more clearly seen! And the place we eventually arrive at after lessons hard learned is truly a different place! Very heartfelt poem! |
