Beautiful!! ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. Thank you all for leaving footprints!! |

This was very nicely done...I use crickets a lot in my own haiku, as did the old masters. Here is one of my favorites of my own: Sudden silence so deep even crickets hesitate. also.... An early frost, and just one cicada to sing me to sleep. ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |
