Your Own Song From here to yonder, does the cool wind sing Carrying in its wake, the sounds of spring A beautiful noise, of its past long since gone Listen to trees. Can you hear them And their song? The sounds, yet familiar, are indeed not the same These pleasures they wail are strengthened through pain A beautiful noise, of its past long since gone Listen to the trees. Can you feel it, In their song? What do you hear? Is it the sorrow of a life passed by? Or possibly the pleasure that brings a tear to you eye? Gather these sounds, of you past song since gone Place them together and make sense Of this song. Close your eyes. Feel your desire and set it free Become that wind and breeze through the trees Hear the noise of you past long since gone Listen to yourself. Take this time and learn From you song. Yes, finding your rhythm is rough thing to do I'll be here to help. I know you'll come through Your headed to the future with your past long since gone And like the wind in the trees, You sing your own song. |

Tamboril, you have written a lovely poem! With this you certainly have sung your own song. Others may be able to tell me what poetic form this is, all I know is that I like it. |
