I Was Lifted Up On Angels Wings

I've soared past mountains steep
Through old valleys wide
Over great oceans deep
With an Angel by my side.
I was lifted up on Angels wings
And how it shook me about
I saw the rains and floods
Dry lands and drought.
Through villages of old
Suffering despair
Where people were sold
For the rich….
They were made to care.
Hunger in the eyes of children
No energy to even speak
The new world we must travel to
Volunteers we shall seek.
I was lifted up on Angels wings
So that I would understand
How lucky I am
To live in this time
And on this land.
