Please give her a hug for me and I think the poem/thoughts is a super idea....I'm having a think as I write this for you...I'll post it soon...

Jason, please send Echo my love and many hugs. As well as Rainbow and Pepper, I am also at a loss for words. I was going to post a similar thing myself, but you beat me to it, thank you, cause I don't know if I would have known what to say. I will help you send her any messages that I can as well, and I think your idea of messages or poems is great as well. I am currently working on a poem now!

Please let her know
She's in thoughts and prayers...
That someday soon joy
Will replace this despair.
It's so easy to feel
One just doesn't matter.
But that's just not true
And so many hearts shatter
When a voice is silenced.
Let her know that we care
And hope she quickly recovers
Our concern's always there!

May her body and soul both heal quickly!

I didn't know Echo but my thoughts are going to her ... I pray that with the help of her family and friends, she'll go through this.

Auntie, that is an outstanding poem ... And so many hearts shatter When a voice is silenced ... wow, that's a gem !

I just found this web site this morning, so I don't really know Echo. But I have read many of her poems...she is a very talented person. After reading Jay_Jays entry earlier, I had to write something for Echo. Please bear with me as I am not very good at this...but I wanted to write her something!!

We sit here and think
Of Something to say,
To Help you feel better
and Take the pain away.

We can say it's not fair
and It's not right,
But that doesn't help you
Get through this fight.

We are here for you Echo
So PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP,
Believe it or not
Many people you have touched.

No words can express
How much we care,
We just want you to know
We'll always be here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you
And Always will be,
We hope and pray
For Your complete recovery.

I just posted a poem called FOR ECHO! IF anyone wishes to add their name on it please feel free to do so. You can write your own thoughts and words to it also. Then Jay Jay can print out one long copy and give it to her.

Images of a lady
Echo Rhayne
so much lost
so much to gain!

Rhayne
is that the sound
of rain or the noise
of a heart as it pounds?

Echo
riccocheting
or simply a way
to be heard?

Thinking quietly to myself
about Echo Rhayne
if only
she didn't know such pain ...

Being the little depressive person that I am....I know what Echo is going through...not necissarily why, but I've tried to kill myself. I wish we knew why, so we could write something more meaningful....but it just makes me so sad knowing that other peole have the pain I have, and much more... I truly hope although I dont know her that she finds what she needs in life and the strength to keep going.

I will be passing this along to Echo and the poem FOR ECHO from WhtDove and all the replies on there. I will not see her until Tuesday, so if we can kep this as close to these two as close to the top as possible to get as many replies as we can, I would greatly appreciate it, as I am sure Echo will as well. I just talked to her mom, who thanks you for your concern, and Echo has come out of the coma she was in, and is healing quickly. She should be in the psych ward on Monday. I just thought that I would keep you all updated.

Echo...my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your talent for expressing yourself in words is much to good to waste. I hope when you are feeling better, you begin to write again as I think you can help many people through your words. There are many out there that feel as you have felt, alone and desperate, and you could do much through your works to help others.
Until then, God Bless you and heal you quickly.
Hugs
Ruth

Damn! Tell her that even such as I will be praying for her. I can well understand the despair that would motivate her actions. Please give me a little time and I will be back to give proper tribute.

Please tell Echo that she is a very talented poet and that without her words there will be void that cannot be filled. I have read many of Echo's postings and she is one of the best. I will keep her in my prayers and will try my best to do a tribute to her that that does her justice. She is one in a million and hope to see her back soon.

Looking back on her recent works, I'm saddened to know that she was crying out for help and I failed to see that. Echo, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just personally want to thank everyone for responding to this. The love and friendship shown here is wonderful. I think it will help her to know that everyone here is awaiting her return, and are willing to help...God bless you all! And Tara, I think we all failed to see she was crying out for help as well. I went back and read every post she has made, and I failed to see the cry myself. I took the poems lightly, not seriously, which I think we all tend to do, but this should be an example, just as Artur Hawking said as a reply to "Weep Not For Me." I am overwhelmed by the amount of responses that have been given and I can only hope they continue to rise higher and higher, so back to the top!

Please Please tell Echo, that I can relate to her, I have also tried to commit suicide numerous times. I have written poetry to help express my feelings. Every now and then I feel the urge to. I have poems I can let her read to show she's not alone. But I'm not sure if it would do more harm then good. Because I know from experience when you are depressed the last thing you want to do is read something depressing. I think we should each write a poem dedicated to her, and have a moderator print them out (HAPPY poems OF COURSE!!!) and make a book, and show that we are there for her. What do u guys think?

Diamond, we are already doing that. Well, I wrote one for Echo. And people are posting under it, and on this page too. Then Jay Jay will print it all out and give them to Echo. They are writing their feelings and/or poems. So if you wish to write one for her, please feel free to post it in my poem, it is called FOR ECHO! Thank you Diamond!
Just go in and hit reply and post away!
