I can no longer pick myself up off the floor. I am there to stay. To suffer, to ache, to cry my sorrowful cry.
I can no longer rise above the clouds. I am here to stay. To imagine, to dream, to burn my forsaken memories.
I can no longer sing with my voice. I speak only after dark. I am no longer here. To scream, to yell, to whisper words so softly from my shameful lips.
I can no longer see with my eyes. I see only what I don't want to. I am no longer here. To slip, to stumble, to fall over my abhorrence and fear.
I can no longer love. I will never return. I have fanished from my sorrowful cry, my forsaken memories, my shameful lips, and my abhorrence and fear of rejection.
