To the doper it's a dubie,
The roach that's left to snort,
To me it's just a butt,
That makes your memory short.

In Texas they are big,
Like all in Texas is,
About the size of mice,
You can hear them when they "whiz."

But in Florida they are monstrous,
They can sweep you off your feet,
Their habits make ya nauseous,
When you find them in your meat.

In Miami they're not called Roaches,
They can carry off milk jugs,
Their droppings are atrocious
Them damned Palmetto Bugs.

So if one is on your shoulder,
There is no need to fear,
Cuz their cousin is a friend of ours,
That Bigroach Balladeer!
