The sun, a golden apple, is slowly eaten by the hungry pink hills. The clouds, like lace at the bodice of the towering blue mountains. The trees ripple in the wind like the dress of a dancing woman, as the river chuckles and laughs with the voices of hundreds of children. The stars come out like the twinkle in a mother's watchful eye. The moon shines down with the cool blue of a night light, left on by a caring father. As night wraps her cooling cloak close about, the shadows grow to fill the fields, pouring into every crack and crevice. The world yawns and strectches as I close my eyes and take deeper breaths... In my mind, the world is bright as day. I take up my sword and shield, upon my horse I ride to find adventure. . . -------------------------------------------- An idea is not responsible for the people who believe in it. |
