let the music flow within your soul spill the words from the cup of thought dance to the beat of your own emotions ignore the eyes of those who wish you harm open your mind to the vision before you close your eyes to the arrogance you hate open your arms to the shadow you tried to destroy the shadow that is you listen not to the mouths of the popular see not the pictures they want you to see dance the dance that lives inside you and let your spirit free wipe away the tears you shed in dreams as you gaze into the nothingness before you as the mirror gazes back with eyes of pain and try to love who you are [This message has been edited by desperado (edited 09-20-1999).] |

Wow.....three lines....three lines and this poem went from being a good poem to a great poem: "as you gaze into the nothingness before you as the mirror gazes back with eyes of pain and try to love who you are" What a ending!! ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |

Excellent... ..I don't know about love who you are, but certainly be comfortable with who you are and others will be comfortable with you... HUGS ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. |

Really like your thoughts here, some might be more difficult then others, but all are possible with our minds willing to accept positive reflection. |
