We have our problems, you and I,
Together we laugh and sometimes cry.
We don't understand the men in our lives,
They give us the "POOR ME" vibes.
Yes, we take it, and take it some more,
Seems we can't ever get out the door.
We cook, clean, play servant and nurse,
But it seems to only keep getting worse.
No romance, no thank you, no nothing at all,
Except rudeness when we don't answer their call.
We stand our ground, keep up this fight,
To hold us together by day and night.
No time do these men have to spare,
Do they love us, or even care?
We do and do for everyone we can,
Is there no reward? I don't understand.
We write letters, you and I,
We release anger deep inside.
The men don't know what we go through,
They don't seemed concerned with me or you.
What would they do if we weren't around,
To keep picking them up off the ground?
They don't realize how precious we are,
Nope! They can't see that far.
No matter how they think, or how much they fuss,
They're truly blessed to have women like us!

WhtDove,
This one has so much paint, it will take me a week to get off. Great poem.

Yes ma'am! I couldn't have said it better.
We are sisters in trying to be good wives.
Thank you.

Thanks, all of you! Back up and march on! We will survive. We know what they have, they just don't! I know they aren't all like that.
This really hit home when I got it, and gave me a chuckle.

I can sure relate to this poem right now.  I just kicked my hubby out on April 2, 2004.  This about says what I am feeling about him.  It is a lovely poem.  One that inspires me to go and write my own.
