catepillar toes shedding their cocoons
one step closer
down diamond shores
glittering stones
killing two with one

I am not afraid of you

sun-stained skin holding salt speckles
like summer just ended
but I'm beautiful this time
stepping
onetwothreefourfive

I am not undone by you

blind eagles racing one another
rushing home
through starlit skies
and I can only see
the moon

I am not entranced by you

feathered hands gripping tight
bleeding images
plucking onebyonebytwo
inconstant supernatural
folly

I am not afraid of you.
