OK guys, I posted this in the dark forum but it isn't getting read much (thanks goddess and Jenny Lee) so I brought it here...it is a haiku sequence.... Blood Passion waves whisper secrets silent white-capped passion plays you and I the stars here in this haven with grey gulls circling I taste your lifeblood salty as my dreams washed by this guardian sea your blood on my tongue I savor its essence know full your tethered passion desire its freedom waves move in rhythms our wild hearts beat in tandem shall I set you free? ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |
