A mid winter's scene Fixed in a savings medium Within a glass and wood cocoon. It's there I watched the bright of noon. Unborn lays yet the banks of spring. While trees bare ranks of avant-garde And stoic birds sing colic bard. Too soon to stow the sew of snow. Too soon to dow the spring of plough. Too soon to crow the sun to now. Midway midwives a dreamy state. Impatience buds this moody still. And puts away the icy bill? For in the winter's mean white scene I seed the coming of the green. |
