I recently wrote this for my cousin and her new baby, who I love soooo much....

It's called Precious..

I watch you sleep,
and I see how precious
you are to me.
Your eyes are as beautiful
as the blue skies above.
I can't help but
want to give you
all of my love.
You are so precious,
it means everything
that you and her
are now part of my world.
You are as soft as
the feather you wear
in your hair.
I wonder how much you
are truly aware.
You are growing so fast,
but don't worry
no matter how old
you get my love
will always last.
