What Does It Take To Bring Me Joy? I feel the sweet cessation, of my vapid peace draw near. The churning of my hatred, begins to cool me, not to sear. The malady of anger - foeman valiant who's now lost... A shard of lonely madness, still doth assail and accost. Kaleidoscopic feelings - are curious and unknown... Ever the anomalous, as we've fought we've also grown. Sagacious might - battles on, through a faux veneer of wit. "Obiter dictum," always; Too obsessive? Never quit! Narcissistic I'll admit; full of ego, that's my fault... Let it waver, let it fall, ‘neath the truth of your assault. Yearning and burning, (cliche) you have given, done your part. Yield game point, win to you, surely follow dost my heart! Obscure in verse it may seem, not too much for what we are. Unmerciful to my heart, you broke through, yet left no scar. . Wow Christopher....what can I say? Only Wow....very very powerful....angry yet "wanting" all the same....wow. This really moved me although I'm still sitting here wondering what exactly I feel....a bit of anger & disappointment myself....hhmmm. Fabulous expression! ------------------ I beckon you to come...I lure you with my tongue... - poet FemmeFatale |

Christopher, a well put together, well worded piece! I really liked the... "Kaleidoscopic feelings." I think we all have those, but that was a great way to put it. |

I have to agree with all, but especially Whtdove, as "Kaleidoscope feelings" caught my eye, and emotions, and I saw the colors... |

I agree with the others - this is really good. And to think, you were going to quit? |

I want you all to know that your words really touched me! Especially the ones about my form! We all know that's not my strong suit! ![]() I went back, and edited the poem, bolding the first letters, in case you hadn't noticed... I really put some time in on this one, it took me almost an hour and a half to do! I appreciate and am humbled by your praise, though I take little credit for anything but the labour... my inspiration, she is the one whom should be thanked! |

Lord Christopher, maybe we should get Michael to join us in a drunken stupor and we can all sing Ballads in drunk's off key bellowing. Lovesick we all are, though I for one know what will cure mine. ------------------ Now and forever my heart hears ~one voice~. DreamEvil© |

My dear. What could I possibly say to this? It is heart wrenching, and beautiful and I understand exactly how you feel. Thankyou for sharing this piece of your soul. [This message has been edited by Severn (edited 09-19-99).] |
