I clicked on the mail logo and tried to send a poem to a friend but, after clicking to send, I got a "sorry. Can't run this program from here" error message.. |

That's the second time I've heard that, Michael. Yet, it seems to work just fine when I try it? Can you give me more information? Maybe the poem you were trying to send would help. Or, if you could try it again and give me the URL of the error message? Anything, really, that you think might help. 'Cause I'll be darned if I can see why it should happen so randomly. |

The poem ws "Poetry on the Porch". The message is "Sorry. Can not run this program from here" The URL is..../cgi/forms/friends.cgi |

That's the wrong program! Can you describe how you get there, Mike? If I click on either of the "Send" icons (or corresponding text links), it takes me to user.cgi and runs just fine. What are you clicking on to get to the friends.cgi program? What am I missing? |

I click on the send envelope between the PRINT and E-CARD icons on the poem page which takes me here.... /main/user.cgi?action=sendpoem&forum=Open+Poetry+|NMB|18&number=53&topic=001282.cgi&ReplyNum=&TopicSubject=Poetry+on+the+Porch Then I click on the SEND POEM icon under the receiptient's e-mail address which takes me to..../cgi/forms/friends.cgi.....and the mentioned error message. I've done it 5 times now with no success.... |

Following your link above, it works just fine for me. Can you send other poems? Can you send that particular poem to other people? Or is the problem only with that specific poem and email address? I wish I had more time to try to duplicate the error, but I don't. I've removed the domain check, instead, so you shouldn't have any problems. Just wish I knew what caused it in the first place.  |

ok thanks Ron. It works now so I won't be able to check if it worked with other poems or not but I seldom use the function anyway...thanks for your help. |
