OK - I format my stuff, preview it, looks JUST like I want it to, hit "Submit" and it all comes out to the left. WAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! What's up? |

Are you talking about spacing? I have that problem too. Like if I put twelve spaces between two "X"s... X X It would come out right next to one another. Or if I space a sentence in, it will show up all to the left. Like this. (which is about thirty spaces in) Is this what you are talking about? I have the same problem! If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

Since changing to the new server, I can never get a line to indent either. I guessed it was a bug (or undocumented feature) but I know Ron is awfully busy right now and it just didn't seem critical enough to bother him. Probably my mistake though. |

Er, I just didn't know it was a problem. Long story version. Standard HTML simply will not display multiple spaces, so they have to be converted to non-breaking spaces, and I was previously doing that when I converted the smilies codes. When we added the prompt to turn off smilies, I later realized that turning them off also turned off the space formatting I put in a long time ago (it's not a standard part of the software). So, I moved that line of code to where I convert the UBB codes. Had you used any UBB codes in your posts, the space formatting would have been preserved, too. However, without UBB codes in square brackets, the code never reached my line to convert spaces either. So, I've moved the code once again. Short story version: It's fixed.  |
