I am unable to update N|D|N|C|Lost-Poet in my list of poets for library... I tried sending a post and updating at that time... I can update the thread for which I posted but not the poet... /main/libdisplay.cgi It gets updated but not a single post of the poet is visible... When I click on the name of the poet this appears /main/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName=N Hope you can help Thank you |

My guess is that the software is getting confused by the vertical line in the username and is reading it as a software command. It starts to read his name, gets to the vertical line and Bingo.. It thinks he\she is called N  |

Grinch is right. That username can't be added to the library and apparently can't even be used in a Search. I'm not sure any User functions, like email, will work. In the next week or so, I'll change the software to not allow weird characters in new Usernames. But that's shutting the barn door after the horse has already left. It doesn't solve this problem, only addresses future ones. |
