Ron,
    I'm confused. The member's area access request for Mature Content says that I'm already allowed access to all of the adult forums but when I try to log in I'm given the prompt that says I'm denied access and need to get permission.

Go to the Cookie Manager and click on the link to Delete All Cookies. Then log in again. Then ask for access to MC.

This is just a guess, but I suspect you might be sharing a computer with someone who already has access to MC? A shared computer equals shared cookies, and I think that is confusing the software a bit. Clearing all your cookies before asking should resolve that confusion.
