You may want to check your ISP since you have the same problem with a new name, it could be the connection.

If you imagine a garden hose running all the way from you to our servers in Florida, strung together with hundreds of little hose connectors, you'll have a good idea of the way the Internet works. Most of the time, the water flows through the hose at a fairly steady pace. Once is while, one of those little connectors breaks and has to be replaced. Or some idiot stands on the hose and restricts the flow. There are LOTS of things that can go wrong.

There were a number of connection problems reported this weekend, ranging from slow connects to "Server Not Found" errors. Every time I checked, the symptoms experienced in the forums were also simultaneously evident at the main site, even though the sites are not on the same computers. That's a sure indication of a network problem, not a server problem. One of our Moderators accused me of "turning out the lights," and then thanked me for fixing it, when in truth I did nothing.

Because, ultimately, there's nothing I can do.

LOL...as I was reading this, then clicked forward to another forum?  I got the "Internet Interruption" message!  Too funny!

There were several times Saturday, and Sunday, where it seemed like "lights were out".  Thanks for the explanation, Ron.

Well, "the lights were out" for me all weekend. Cox had problems from early Saturday until late Sunday evening. I couldn't even get email. By the time I finally got back in, my inbox was crammed with over 40 spam missives. It's good to be back today though.

It's been doing this for several weeks. I am sure that it is not a networking problem for i have the problem with the computers at school and at home.

there has not been a time in the past several weeks that it worked faster or as fast when i logged it but when i am loged out it works just fine.

If you can't fix it i will have to leave

Threatening to leave is not a solution to the stated problem.

I am not threatning to leave, so what if i do? I'm not that good of a poet, and my leaveing would cause very little differances.

Please fix it. I wasn't threatning to leave i have no choice i can't talk if my mouth is sealed

Vagabond, I doubt that Ron can fix it, after reading what he wrote.  Perhaps you need to check with your end, your ISP, your computer?

frankly and sorry but needed to be said, I find you rather rude, for asking for help on a problem that may or may not be....if you are running off cable modem local cable companies have been having problems every where not just your neck of the woods....if it is a problem with rons server why not be nice and send him a trouble ticket or at the very least ask nicely instead of threating to leave and demanding something be done....?

Vagabond...
depending on the time or the day or even the route the ISP you use provides to connect to Ron's servers you may experience delays. I sit on a T1 and with all that bandwidth I sometimes experience delays in logging on or in to this sight. I do not think you can look to Ron to fix the issue, as he truly has no control over anything but the server that houses this sight and the bandwidth he has connecting the server to the internet. Both seem to be suffecient to take care of the normal flow of traffic. You can however, if you know something about computers, trace the route your ISP is using to connect to the sight and look at the time lapse for each jump to get an idea of how fast or slow traffic is being moved..

Sorry if i seem rude

Schools frequently block access to interactive sites on the internet.  School administration doesn't want to have to monitor their students' cyber destinations, so they set controls from their servers.
