Another Session - Part II We've all introduced ourselves Told why we are here No one seems to have a clue how it works But Ms Love exudes confidence She understands the group dynamic Knows the synergy is there And I later came to believe that She believed in the serendipity Like we were 'meant' to come together She explained that we had an hour - And that we needed to exchange experiences I could see that at least 4 of us Were quite shy about talking And definitely weren't going 'first' But the odds favored Love and Mary spoke up She told us her husband had agreed to divorce Her children still loved her -, had been to see her But were apparently unwilling to condemn dad She wondered if she should get lawyer to pursue alimony Her devastation showed through her anger Ms Love said she should I piped in and agreed saying both she AND her husband needed representation that it was simple CYA John spoke up then he'd been looking dazed Since he told of his wife's leaving Many of us were thinking Kramer vs Kramer But he did not look like Dustin Hoffman and we doubted he'd married a Meryl Streep He was definitely the anomaly I could feel his pain Could read it on his face His words spoke his bafflement But once he started talking He couldn't stop Talked about their nice but modest house How their son wondered when mommy was coming home And he still hadn't figured out what to tell him Son still in day care but now he had to change his hours So he could both drop off and pick him up His mother saying "I told you so" He didn't even know how to get in touch with his wife I think he could have spoken the rest of the hour Ms Love finally interjected That she had some books for him - and he should give someone else a chance to talk Mary spoke again then and said his wife sounded like Her husband: "That ***** sounds like my ******* Denny" Then there was a moment of total silence I looked at Joan, Sue and Pat For another moment before I decided to jump in I said I was worried about my kids My son was 17, my daughter 14 They had nothing to say - I was afraid if I'd sued for custody The divorce battle would go on And their education money wasted on lawyer fees. To me my wife blamed herself But I had no idea what she was telling them (continued with session III) ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

It's interesting...all the intricacy of relationships and the way they affect so many. You have a smooth natural style in this Bill, look forward to more. |

Interesting. I am definitely enjoying the manner of presentation - like little clips of information that all tie in with each other. I'm seeing a whole picture here now. Cool! Christopher (ps: for the record, please be careful. asterisks in place of profanity is still profanity.) ![]() |

Martie- I've this peculiar trait - that says - perhaps someone who 'needs' to will read this and find more than literate value -- besides recalling it even vague as it is - is a form of catharsis. Thank you Christopher- I had no idea what I was going to do - or how I would do it - I wanted a harsh dose of reality. As for the asterisks - they were provided by PIP I used the terms for female dog and child out of wedlock. I did not expect them to be replaced by asterisks. I KNEW I was not supposed to use any sexual vulgerisms - but ... Thank you - there will be a pt III |

These snippets of characters with their strengths and flaws are coming through nicely...and don't we see a little bit of ourselves throughout... I am liking this free therapy Bill...and awaiting Part III... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?...KRJ |

Wilfred, sometimes our memories enhance the realism such as exaggeration could never do...I will continue to be patient, and await Part III... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?...KRJ |
