Raining in My Heart In loving memory of the great Buddy Holly and his song by the same title. Another day, another façade, what will it be today? The sun rises over the wooded horizon, spilling forth it’s morning glory. The birds wake, and the fog lifts, leaving the morning dew. It’s the dawning of another perfect day, but it’s raining in my heart. The sun is shining, and the clouds are white. The flowers blossom, and the trees stretch towards the heavens. The sky is blue, and the breeze blows gently. The day is perfect, but it’s raining in my heart. One last blaze of glory for the setting sun. The clouds reflect the last colors of light. The trees leave only a silhouette behind. The insects now begin their musical medley, and the day was perfect, but it’s raining in my heart. The moon appears bright in all of its greatness. The stars shine above. The heavens reach toward the Earth. The fog begins to roll in, covering the ground in mystery. Night has fallen, ready to start another perfect day, but it’s raining in my heart. Another day, another façade, what will it be today? |

Wow Night_myst... that was a great piece. So many images flew through my mind. With all the beauty all around you, why is it still raining in your heart? Wonderful job, I hope to see more from you. ![]() "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss. No other course, no other way... No day but today" ~Broadway Musical RENT~ *Cassandra Roseen* |
