Imagine that you are walking a dog, (the dog is your body and you are your mind) wile you are walking the dog you are always behind (behind in time). And you control where the dog is to go by observing were you want it to go. You pull on the leash to dictate where you want it to go. The dog is always ahead of the master (but it has no ability to choose where it goes) the master is always behind, observing (dictating where the body is to go). The only solid thing in our life is our body, that’s our conduit into the future. So when one dies the human soul/consciousness is kept in the present of the moment that it is released from its conduit for it has nothing to pull it anymore. I really liked your point of view on this one... you seem to have a unique way of looking at things as I haved learned from a past piece of yours. This was one of those things you had to read very carefully and pay attention and it made me think about what you were trying to say. I love pieces like that.. so great job.. you worked my mind for the day ps-write more often I love your work ~Heather~ Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. |

hope you don't mind me adding my two cents...here's a concept which is not unlike yours....when the flesh dies, life departs, and all the functions of vital principle departs. Yet the self remains...and the deeds of this life are the impressions left behind with others... at that time, those who are thinking of God well, lets just say, it gives a whole new meaning to "we are as we think and believe" when the mind is gone forth into the next life, this one is forgotten (complete forgetfulness of one's past life is hence, the word death?) but we are going to be a product of our deeds and perhaps spiritual merit will be our companion upon our minds leaving our bodies...clothed in the effaces of our sins, our radiance..our duties performed, making us heirs to our deeds...? Love these kind of topics.... thank you for bringing it to the forefront kinda neat to ponder, yanno? |
