Stardust
By Larry Chadwick

You know how much I enjoy expressing my love. And yet it seems there could always be more. Passion is great but ultimately cannot stand alone. But the worst is that period of complacency when I unwittingly take you for granted. Then I face myself in the mirror and remember life never was all about me.

Our need for love can come from so many different places. There is just something about now that sparks me. I find myself welling with the desire to share my every want for you and how my heart is completed by you. And so I automatically turn to the history of us. Where do I begin?

I remember when we met. My first memory is when your eyes saw mine. I remember your first laugh. I remember your instant smile. It all draws me down a timeline of events that carry such rich memories. But the mirror reminds me that I want to share what is in my heart.

It is not fear that silences me. It is not for lack of courage that my lips do not move. My failure to speak is not because I have nothing to say. My mind pleads that you not misinterpret what must seem to be a self-centered moment. For here I stand so overwhelmed by what you have given to me and for the gift of who you are that for the first time in my life I am speechless, persuaded that only my body can express to you the depth of what I feel.

Brother you better darn well print that on red paper, and tie it with a white bow, and give it to her on the 14th of February man!  These are the kinds of treasures that no amount of money could ever buy.  Nice Larry.

Thank you Susan. Very much.

Sharon,
What an awesome idea as she hasn't seen it! So I can skip the ssran wrap plan, right?

Agreeing with Mysteria here Larry. Words of love can not be expressed well if not spoken or written. Body contact alone just does not always do it.  Happy Valentins's day... LOL

Betty Lou,
Sorry I didn't see your response. And thank you for such generous words.

Allysa,
How are things dear girl? Well I hope. And you silly thing I'm not mr. wonderful, but I am in love. And she has not seen this. But I do hope she likes it when she gets it!

MartyJo,
You are such a dear. I won't even take credit for doing as you both suggest. And since NancyLee hasn't seen it I'll give you a report.

Karilea,
What a delight to share just a corner of your world.

Well I am glad I ventured here today!

I am so very impressed, not only by your words, but your passion.

Excellent, in my non-professional opinion!

Free_Spirit07,
Thanks and welcome to Passions. She cried when she read it. I had a graphics designer lay it out and printed it on velum backed on red paper and added some dimensional stars to the printed stars and a ribbon on top. Now she wants it matted and framed. So much for a seventy cent valentine!

I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
