how my heart aches for them.  the babies in that Potter's Field.  my soul is rocked each time i think of them.  and yet, i do it often.  i don't want them to be forgotten.  how cold is this world, to leave something so precious as a child, in a place thats so cold.

i cry for them until i cant cry anymore.  i wish my tears could make them warm.  my heaven might be that i can care for these babies as angels.  let me hold them and kiss them and show them love they never knew.

i fear my hell would be to see them die again, and not be able to stop it.

my faith eases this heartache, and i pray for their souls, that they are indeed in heaven as angels.  and that they know love and they know the warmth of the sun.  and that they know of nothing but joy.

maybe it's a little part of pain i feel for them.  that i have this need to know more about them.  i don't know why i search for them, but i do.  if only so that here on earth, somebody knows of them.

Well now, you do indeed have a very tender heart. Bless you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

you have such a beautiful heart, hon, it's
so heartwarming to know there is someone
