Wind is swirling through the pine, oak and elm trees. Dandelions bounce amongst burnt grass from the dry heat of the past summer. I am lost in my thoughts about you, as I sit on my porch listening to the world around me. The aroma of roses washes across my face as I daydream about you. Your face imprinted on my mind. Birds are chirping and fluttering about the cloud spotted sky as the rays from the sun smile through. I think how long I have loved you, although I have only known you a year.
It feels as if it has been forever. Months have gone by since the day I met you. I feel as if I have known you all my life. Always here for me, your love so true. Jesus I know I can do anything I put my mind too. For you have proven that to me. I know you will be one step ahead of me ready to answer my prayers. I can feel your presence pressing deeply against my heart. Ripping me away from evil, and sparing me from flame and fire. You take my hand and lead me, away from the shadows and into the light. Listening to my prayers and answering them as I call them.  Your presence keeps me alive. Six months before I met you, I was in love with temptation. Six months after I am still battling the war. Easier I can say no to temptation as well as say yes. I can freely and openly say no now instead of yes.

Yes... hmm..
this causes me to wonder.. what is evil?
i suppose this is about the Lord Christ Himself?.. or someone else close to you in your life (not sure!)
regardless, this is a well penned tribute to whomever has this divine influence on you.
i wish u good luck

I have sent you nothing but angels, and I have placed nothing but miracles before you.

That was pretty good if you ask me.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
