This is the piece of prose that follows the intro(more of the intro will make sense as you read the story)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     Straviet was awoken by the rumbling sound of an
elevator. A young girl with blonde hair stood in
front of him, a look of pure malice on her face.
     "We can't leave, Straviet!!!!!"
     "We have to!!!!"
     "Melyora will be killed." Straviet sighed.
     "Melyora will be fine, Sora. Don't worry." The
knight grasped his fiance's shoulders and looked
into her eyes. "You must promise me you won't go
back."
     Her shoulders tensed as she pulled free, and
before Straviet could reacte, she had knocked him
out. As he fell to the ground, she sadly whispered
"For Lucia..."
***
     "Do you think the gate will open?" The elvish
archer shifted impatiently as he asked the question.
     "Of course it will! Why wouldn't it?"
     "Well, if it will, why are we waiting here?"
     "The knight inside has a enemy in there. I
didn't want to disrupt his duel."
     "Whatever you say..."
***
     "Tell me!!!!!" As Natal yelled these words, he
knew the mage would never tell him. "Worthless
fool!" He shrieked in rage, "Do you not wish to save
your life?!"
      "Not at the price of the elvish race!"
Defiance showed in her emerald blue eyes, and her
body language showed malice.
      "Very well then. Gaurds! Take her to the
execution room!!
