Have any of you gotten your own book published? I've had things published on the net and in mags before, but want my own book!!

Thanx....too bad poetry isn't as popular as sports or we would all be able to publish books easily

i actually find poetry to bee too popular.  even in fad-proportions at times.

just keep at it.  the more you're published, the better known you'll become.

if you wish to do it on your own [unsolicited and without an agent], it would help if you have multiple publishings to back you up.

local publishers are always a first stop.  but make sure you're definitely ready.  they're only interested in serious applicants.
