Don't delete the hidden files. Just the cookies. Seems like you are configured not to see these files, so you can't mistakingly delete them. Don't use the "select all" option, just highlight all the cookies and delete it that way. Why you have hidden files in the same folder as your cookies doesn't make any sense. But to be on the safe side, don't delete the hidden files. hi Sweets, Lizzy, Kris, Ina, Erin, Erica, Minna, Kit, Kamie, Javi, Jenn, Sharon, Nan, Cawlee, Cherish, Ashley, Sara, Justine, Leah, Jess, Kimmie, Mare |

Hmm, acire's right. Don't delete those, but I can't imagine what those would be doing in your cookie files. If you have to do it one by one, it may take you a long time. Is there something that comes up when it asks you, that says no, you don't want to delete hidden files? If not, then highlight each one and go to file, and choose delete. If you clear it out, it should help. You can also help your puter by cleaning out your temp internet files as well. That's also in your "windows" folder. If your printer read me files are showing up in there...go to your start button, then your printer...it should show there a "read me file" for your printer. If it does, then you can delete the hidden one. It shouldn't be in your cookie folder to begin with. Do you have a virus scan??? Sometimes, and I don't want to scare you, a virus can make a "hidden" file. If you don't have one I would strongly suggest getting one. |

If you want to see exactly what those hidden files are.... 1. goto your windows explorer 2. under view, goto you folder options 3. you'll see 3 tabs, you need to click on view 4. under the hidden files folder, you're given 3 choices and you need to click on show all files 5. ok out of there...this should show you the hidden files 6. i suggest you don't delete and .drv, .dll files, why it's there I don't know hi Sweets, Lizzy, Kris, Ina, Erin, Erica, Minna, Kit, Kamie, Javi, Jenn, Sharon, Nan, Cawlee, Cherish, Ashley, Sara, Justine, Leah, Jess, Kimmie, Mare |
