I have written to poetdevine, and temptress and just though I'd place the message/question here as well....I am having trouble with the "cookies" in the adult forum....I have not had a problem until now when trying to edit, so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong....it works, and lets me edit in the other forums so??? any help is greatly appreciated.....thanks so much..... Sharon forwarded me a copy of your email and I'm looking into it. I suspect this is a software problem, because we've had a few similar issues with our Moderators in their private forum. I keep telling them to stop making mistakes, then they won't need to edit, but it seems they ain't buying it.  It would be a big help, Greeneyes, if I could see your cookie settings. I'd appreciate it if you could take a moment to go into the Member's Area, then into Troubleshooting Guide and submit a Troubleshooting Report. One of the things sent with the report will be a copy of your cookies, and I hope that tells me something of what I need in order to solve the problem. |

I've had a problem with my cookies lately. When I view Today's Topics, I can't see the titles of the Adult Forum/DM Forum and SM Forum. I just redid my cookies so my editing is fine... |

It worked for me. You have to resave your the forum as your favorite and use that link.... |

When we do our cookies, what exactly are we supposed to clear? Should I change anything that's by default marked on there? Help, I haven't done it, cause I don't know what I'm doing. |

Go to the Member Area and find the troubleshooting link. On the left side of that page is a phrase "I think my cookies crumbled"....follow those directions. All you do is delete all cookies. Then go back to the main forum through the link at the bottom of the page and bookmark that. Delete your old bookmark. Then you will enter by that bookmarked link from now on. Oh, and if you go into a private forum that requires a password, you will only have to sign in once...then the cookie remembers you... I worked for me.... got it...*LOL* but I had to delete the cookie file completely on my "C" drive, make a copy of it first if you are going to do that....it will delete all cookies to everywhere you have been on the net..... wooohooooo good luck... Lauren~ Nothing Beautiful In This World |
