I was wondering if any one knew of any sites,
or if anything has been posted here at Passions
that have dictionarys and examples of how to use the "old world" style language ...
For example ... how to properly use "thee, thou" "thine" and the more poetic words and phrases like Shakespear and etc.
I had one bookmarked long ago, that a poet here posted on their poem thread at one time, but I lost it in a computer crash.
Thank you for the help.
jm

Poetry is not an opinion expressed ...
It is a song that rises from a bleeding wound ...
or a smiling mouth.

I want thee in my heart and soul!
Thou are my great desire.
And in thine arms, I'd hope to hold
The spark within your fire.
Oh thee are my amazing Love!
Thou rhapsody's my air!
I breathe within thine melody -
(hey is this thee-thou-thine thing fair?) hehe

and NO!!! this poem is NOT for YOU, JM!

how wouldst thou think mine words were thou's?
thine imagination is so free!
how would thine heart commit itself
to a GIRL who looks like me?

ROFL!!!! *winkiewinkie*
good luck, theethinethougator... later!

.... i crack myself up... *g...thanks for the inspiration

no he doesn't!! shhhhh... ROFL... *winkiewinkie*... and oh... if you WANT it to be for you, ms. JM... claim it... because... it really WAS for you anyway... believe me... thou art my true inspire... *grin

(but, he really doesn't and this wasn't for him unless you want to give it up..... of course there's poem after poem on these boards and so many who think they are written expressly for them and who am I to deny them? ... so?? hehe... i'll check with one of my alternate personalities and see if she can write one for you and/or ron, too, if thou would like... hehe... oh geez... ain't this a passionate place? i LOVE it here!!!)

if thy were thus the only rhyme
and if thine were the thou of time
entrenched within the thus and such
of this and that and thou and much
of thous and thees and thines and those,
well, this pome could be yours i 'spose...

*grin...
