Hi there. . .

Can we have some information on the new titles and what they mean?  (for those people that don't speak Latin on a regular basis. . . )

Thanks!!!

Well I know that avis means bird, but I can't figure out the rara part.

And what are all the new titles anyway?

I can't list all the new levels - because some of them haven't been reached yet. Hey, we have to have some surprises around here!

And, with just one exception, all the new levels can be found in a standard English dictionary, guys. For example: Rara Avis

That's an easy one, Sven.

When the software was written over a year ago, the levels topped out at 2,000 posts. Based on the activity I had seen at other UBB forums, that seemed like an almost unattainable goal. Little did I know...

Ok. . . but why did you pick the titles that you did?

I guess they seemed a bit more poetic than I, II, III, IV ...

I love them.

I know there is a Praticious...is that correct? It's something like that...

What then?

Member Imperator?
That would be cool?

Do you have a member equestrian? No you can't - cause that would be before Praticious...

Hmm - but if Imperator - then what after that?

Member Deititious lol!!

Imperator Rara Avis. . .

Antico Member---lol

though most appropriate may be Member Numeroso

Oh but of course Sven...that is my job in life - to confuse and to confound...

Takehe's are really cute - they are big, ungainly looking birds - yet with beautiful colours... and you know what? The feathers on their heads have the texture of cat's fur..so I have 'patted' one...lol!

Yep - so when I get to be a rara avis - I am going to be a takehe...

hehehe...you're cute, Walt! I'm very certain that Marge will catch up and real soon...no fights, though...I'm not the competitive sort, and neither is Marge. I say, the more the merrier!! Let's see how many Laureates we can get!!!   Now...if I could just write a poem....
