As many of you know, I am new to the forum. Unfortunately, I am just now figuring out this library thing, and in the meantime have let a wonderful poem slipped by. It was only posted recently, and it was about the olympics. I'm not quite sure who posted that poem although I have gone back and searched the last few days posts, and the poets who I thought might have written it. If anyone can guide me to this wonderful post, I would be very grateful. Thank you all, and for making me feel so very welcome here. *s* |

I did a search on the word "Olympic" and came up with wayoutwalt and his Toboggan Run poem. Have you tried the search function? At the top of your screen, click on "search". Type in a phrase you might remember and specify the forum you want to search. Hopefully it will work for you...  |

I used the search to try to find it. For some reason I thought it was written by Eagle One, although I'm not sure. I believe this poem in particular was about the special olympics possibly. Thanks for the help Nan. |

Paula Finn wrote one called "Before the Dawn" in response to Eagle One's Olympic challenge. Maybe that's it? Also Kethry wrote one for that challenge too! |

I must have came in right at the end of that challenge because I hadn't heard of it until now. I remember reading something about the olympics, but for some reason I think it was about the special olympics. Thanks much for your help.  |

Many, Many thanks!! That is the one!! It just reached right out and grabbed me, and I just couldn't find it, even when I searched for it under Eagle One. Thanks again!! |
