I am looking for a poem that end with the line "Do not stand at my grave and cry,I am not there I did not die" Unfortunatly I do not know the authuor or the title but I despiratly need to find this poem Please tell me where to find it or even better email it to me |

Apparently, this is a poem written by the notorious, "Anonymous".... God, I love her work. Here it is... I'll e-mail it to you, too... I actually thought it was W.H. Auden... guess I was wrong. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die... Anonymous |
