Hello! I am a beginning music composer, and I mostly write music for string ensembles and for voice. I would like to find some poetry I may make into a song, with the author's permission - I will give you credit! I will also try to make some piano accompaniment. I love writing and I can write poetry, but I do not write it as well or as moving as other people do. I occasionally add/change a verse or so to make it fit the format of the music better. If you are interested, please send your poem to me at rachel.a@bigfoot.com My only requirements are as follows- - Long enough to make a song of, at least 5 verses, preferably more - Preferably emotionally moving - Have some sort of rhyming - You don't mind of a few parts are changed Please help me!
