Just wondering,  Is there anyway to use more than just the four different fonts on the forum?  I think a greater selection would be nice.  Different fonts could be fittingly customized to different poetic forms and styles at the poet's discretion.  Don't get me wrong.  This forum is the GREATEST poetry forum I know of even if we must settle with four fonts!

Though pertaining to letters we pick from just four,
this forum the coolest, I'll ever adore.
And yet is sin just to crave a few more?
Four rotated fonts can create such a bore.
I don't want to sound as an ingrate or fool,
Neither to trangress or hiss sacred rule,
I'd just like to add a few fonts to the spool
to make our poetic expressions more cool!
So can it be done? Will programs allow?
I want to expand my impressions, and how!
Tell me the trick and I'll do it right now.
And yet if I cannot, I won't have a cow.

We had a few more when we switched to this new software, but they didn't quite look right....any suggestions?  (the script font never looked good...)

One of the problems with font selection is that it really doesn't come from the web server - we are only asking your computer to use a specific font. Wanna guess what happens if we ask your computer to use a font it doesn't have?

When I selected the original fonts, I tried to pick ones I knew everyone would have (at least our Windows users). As PdV said, we winnowed a few of those away because they turned out to be real tough to read. I would love to add more!

What we need (and I suggested this a long time ago) is for everyone to list their favorite fonts. If there's a good font and "most" people have it available on their machine, I'll be more than happy to add it to the list.

I'd like a script font.. It doesn't matter which one - Whatever the most common one is....

That'd be awesome...

I'd like the Lucida Calligraphy font. That is very pretty and very 'readable' too.

I agree that a script font would be very nice.
