Long Answer: I turned it back on last night, about 10 p.m., when traffic started subsiding. During the time it was turned off, it wasn't even on the menu (though sneaky people could have found it   ). When I turned it back on I both deleted the announcement and put it on the menu again.

Short Answer: Nope.
