The holidays are upon us and I have a question:

If you could give Ron one gift this year, what would it be and why?

That's an easy one.....

I would give Ron the gift of Perennial Sunshine -
Because I know how much he hates the cold...

Hmmn, good one Devine! Well, with that little wand up there I guess I could give you anything you wanted. Seeing as how you'd know that best of all. So go ahead Ron, just name it!

               MERRY CHRISTMAS RON!

How about my undying gratitude for this wonderful place? ...oh...he already has that!
...ummmm...how about an all expenses paid, all inclusive trip to anywhere he wants to go?! (If I had any money of course, which I don't) Well...I guess we're back to the undying gratitude!

The gift of endless energy!  He's doing a great job with the site, it must be exhausting.

How charged with punishments the scroll;
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Hmmmm, What a question PDV...let me think, well, he has all the tools a man could want...surely?..and we know they all like to play with those, don't we?.....I would never give a man socks, aftershave is out because I don't know his taste, chocolates are out as well cause he may be on a diet..so..I'll give him the wish that next year is more successful than last, that he continues to write beautiful poetry and finally that he is content and happy!

HUGS and THANK YOU Ron!

Oh, come on now, I can't think of anything to get for my family members, much less someone I've never met!

Well, the wonderful gift that Ron has given to me (namely Passions as my very first internet poetry family, and a generous measure of his patience besides) deserves something in return ...

How about a bouquet of best wishes, topped off with a few homemade pecan pies?  Or perhaps he would prefer dutch apple?

Merriest of holidays, Ron -- if anyone deserves them, it's you!

I'd give him eight hours of deep sleep, loaded with the nicest dreams, every night for the rest of his life! He's earned that and then some!

Merry Christmas Ron!

Rainbow Girl... I don't think Ron has all the tools.. you can always get bigger and better.. what about a GOD Server, it never dies, it's got infinite bandwith, space, etc, etc.. it's unstoppable!  And a golden palace possible in a world of Ron's making, where everything is exactly like he wants it..

If I could give Ron anything at all???  Well, it seems he is need of endless, tireless days to keep up with this wonderful place.  Though, I bet a much needed vacation would do well as an alternative.  If I couldn't drag you away from your modem, how about you turn up your heat, don a pair of burmudas and sunglasses, sit back, relax and enjoy a tropical tasting refreshment.    You deserve it!!    Happiest of Holidays, Ron!

Hmmmm this is a tough one..'ponder'.  I would give him two things... a well deserved holiday all expenses paid wherever he wanted to go for as long as he wanted.  Personal happiness:  Love, family, friends, Passions, health and blessings.
Ron, I'll take this opportunity to thankyou for all you've given me here at Passions and to wish you the MERRIEST Christmas ever and my best wishes for a safe, healthy , prosperous, love filled 2000.

I would give Ron a Hug. It is a gift of simplicity, but would be packed with great warmth.  Of course he has the gift that lasts all year...My respect.

I would give Ron 12 clones of himself. One for each day of Christmas. Then send him somewhere tropical with a laptop so he could relax and still keep an eye on home. The clones could do the work and Ron can relax knowing that things are still going to be taken care of his way. Since I can't afford that..he has my loyalty and gratitude for such a marvelous site and a place for so many to call home. ((((((((((Ron)))))))))

It's easy to see, you've everything you need
from friends near and far
We've racked our brains for a gift to give
for the wonderful man you are

Do you have all that one man could want?
Is there one thing that you lack
Sunny beaches, clones and pie
even a massage for your weary back!

What's left to give in this wish list of ours?
What one thing do you want from me
I'll give you the gift of friendship
As that is the gift you gave to me.

When all the gifts are stored away
and we've entered a brand new year
my gift will still be shiny and new
For my friendship is always here.

Thank you Ron, for the past year. You've encouraged me, challenged me, comforted me, enlightened me and praised me. No gift could compete with that. So my friendship is what I give to you this year. Merry Christmas, my friend!

I would truly like to give Ron an assistant to help him throughout the year. That way he could take time off whenever he felt the need to relax and get away from it all.

A tie. *hehe* Ummm...I can't remember who's said what so I don't know if this is a repeat of someone else's gift...but here's what I'd get him: endless bandwidth and space for Passions, an amazing capacity for stress so when the good ol' server crashes he doesn't totally freak, a big hug (I know you said that Temptress but one can never have too many hugs) and a nice thank-you poem for all he's done for me and everyone else! (We all know he has our undying gratitude for giving us our home.)

And give her to the god of storms,
The lightning and the gale!
