What does it mean to "click to submit your poem to passions"? There's an icon to the right of our picture on the page our poem is on (above poem)...I know, I've been around since 2000...but I don't know what that icon means...LOL Just wondering! gale |

I believe it is a relic of yore when people used to send poems to be published at the netpoets.com. |

So then...how does one go about putting something on the "main page" where it might be pulled up by google or something? poetry in the forums can't be googled, right? |

They no longer accept poems for the main page. But poems published in these fora indeed show up on google's pages. Put a title of one of your poems in the search engine and your name as well, and then it shall show up usually at the top of the Google search. |

Christopher~ Thanks...you sound like the smart-elic I'm married to...You're not him in disguise are you?? hahaha! I know that at this time it says we cannot put anything on the main page...I just wondered because when I've tried in the past to google certain lines out of mine or others' poetry from the forums--as an easy way of finding stuff--it has not pulled up anything. But stuff on the main page has pulled up... It's not that important really...I just had one I wanted to put there if it became available to do so. Has it been unavailable for quite some time? (I've been rather 'away' for a while...ie: a non-post-er due to life tugging at me instead!) "...Never regret anything that made you smile..." |
