Do you see that red head boy sittin' over yonder,
with ragged shirt and dirty pants and only one susponder?
Well to look at him you'd think him meek and mild,
but he's rougher than a cowboy and forty times as wild!
Last night we went into the cellar to get some apple cider.
We put the pitcher beneath the jug.
The precious cider gurgled forth.
Cur chug, cur chug, cur chug.
And when I thought I had enough that any man could lug,
I looked up kind of scared and said, "Pop I lost the plug!"
Well if you want to keep the cider, just put your thumb within it.
I'll make another plug I will, twill only be a minute.
Well I yelled at that boy till the air was blue!
As true as my name's Bill Snyder.
I never before had a thumb that was paralyzed on cider!

I donno.

First 2 lines sound like Ogden Nash but the rest of it doesn't even come close to sounding like him.

Cute piece.

I know who didn't write it.
